Losing a semester

Is it worth it to transfer to u mich from MSU even if it means losing a semester’s worth of credits?

What’s your major? What are your career goals? Most importantly, what does your gut say?

I would do it if it’s where you want to graduate from.

My major is Political Science/ Pre-law. I want to become a prosecutor, and eventually run for political office. I really want to go to Michigan, it is sort of a family tradition. Just not sure if losing a semester is worth leaving MSU.

If it’s where you really want to go, it’s worth it.

If your goal is to transfer to Michigan, you should check now to make sure that whatever classes you’re taking next semester will transfer.

Classes other than those listed might still transfer, but you’d need to talk to an advisor and possibly provide a course syllabus (so hang on to as many of those as you can).

If that’s what you really want, go for it. One semester more won’t pinch too much.
