Losing brain cells...

Haha. I’ve been trying to find ways to keep my mind off of my applications and such, so I’ve picked up a new hobby: watching Spongebob. It’s actually quite entertaining. =D I was wondering if any of you have been doing more productive things.

PS: Don’t you HATE using ‘I’ at the beginning of sentences?

the spongebob themesong is the best song ever, isn’t it?xD
i’ve been reading a lot, since i like to read. not really “productive” though, as i mostly read love stories, not classics or masters or anything like that.

The theme song is the greatest! I dig pirates. lol
I don’t read as much as I should, but when I do its mostly by Nabokov.

what’s that about? is it any good? i need some new reads, so maybe i’ll give that a try if it’s any good.

oh, and i know, pirates are the greatest. <33

Hmm. I watch HBO series (and Survivor) with my mom! Trying to get the bonding time in before we know that I’ll be leaving…

“Knowing one’s about to be hanged focuses the mind spectacularly.” I think that’s the quote, more or less. If I’m leaving, my attention will be pulled this way and that, because everyone will be like… You’re leaving, come here and chill with me!

He’s my absolute favorite author ever! You should pick up Bend Sinister, though it’s a tad old [1947]. It’s about a society where everyone is encouraged to be exactly the same and being different is “wrong”. I adore books like that, such as George Orwell’s 1984.

what i do to lose brain cells is go out to the movies. ive been doing it every day lately :)

that’s really sweet saer. you’re really lucky. most of the time my parents don’t get along… so our house is an /unusual/ setting. i promised myself to be nicer to my parents if i got an acceptance letter. and survivor is my love. <33

i’ll look that up on amazon soccer, thanks. i hate it when everyone is exactly the same, i absolutely love unique people. :)

i love going to the movies as well, senay, especially horror movies, lol. haven’t been able to get to any in a while.

george orwell 1984, read the first page, then i gave up. lol boringgggg that’s what he is

I thought it was interesting. It resembles our society today in a strange, twisted way. Farenheit 451 freaked me out though. It totally shows how messed up we are as a society.

My mom and I share a love for “The Tudors”, “Big Love”, “America’s Next Top Model”, “Scrubs”, “House”, and “Survivor”. So it’s only natural that we watch them together! I wish she didn’t nap so much, then we’d get through the DVDs faster… Haha.
A good way to be nicer to parents is to cook for them. They eat that UP.

i’ll keep that in mind saer. i love house, that’s my favorite show. lmao, house cracks me up. i kind of wish i was him, in some sort of paralell universe.

our society is pretty messed up. there’s so much illnesses, wars, poverty, you name it. it’s a bit ridiculous sometimes.

love tudors. she lets u watch it, i find it pornographic. i went to friday the 13th with dad, wowowwwww. awkward.

i liked fahrenheit 451. people think theyre free but theyre so blind that they cant even see their own chains. that’s what i learned from the jungle

Omg friday the 13th! That was really, really awesome. And Tudors is not pornographic. It’s tasteful and incredibly intense.

i’ve only seen the old version of friday the 13th. i turned it off after the nudity. >.>

There was SO much nudity in the new one. Yeah. I was like “Hahahahahahahaha.” It was great.

I was watching Big Love with my mom and these two middle-aged (main characters) people are getting it on… ORALLY. And all I could do was squeal “Ewww, mom, old people sex! Old people sex!” Just cause… It’s too awkward for words!

lmao wow. i couldn’t watch anything with nudity with my parents. i was watching sex and the city with my mom, and whenever a nudity scene came up, my mom would be: “cover your eyes ______!” it’s completely embarrassing.

My mom’s just like… “Grow up, Saer, they’re not THAT old!” Like that makes it better.

I watched big love yesterday… chimes into the conversation lol

Haha chime away, chime away! We’re only on the second episode of the first season, haha.
