So today we lost Natalie Cole and Wayne Rogers (“Trapper John” from MASH). Natalie has struggles with substance issues in the past, and, IIRC, developed Hep C as a result. Sad way to start the year.
Cause of death for Natalie was congestive heart failure. She was only 65.
Definitely sad on both accounts, although Wayne Rogers was at an age at which I would consider his passing “normal” (compared to Natalie Cole, who was only 65). It’s especially tough to lose loved ones during the holidays.
It is very sad. Hearing Natalie Cole’s singing takes me back to my college days. I was a fan. And she was way too young.
True that Wayne Rogers was not young, but have such good memories of watching him on MASH. I still think it’s one of the all time best TV shows.
So sad to hear about Natalie Cole, I was such a fan as kid.
