loss of CS/CE faculty to Microsoft?

<p>A former Pittsburgher who now lives in my community told me that CMU lost a good number of CS/CE faculty to Microsoft a few years ago.</p>

<p>Anyone know of there is any truth to this? CMU is still extremely strong in these areas as best as I can tell.</p>

<p>If BG did do some poaching, then he surely compensated CMU with a new building with his name on it.</p>
