-how many teacher letter of rec’s should i provide?
-does USC look at high school stats when making their decision, even though im transferring from a private college?
-what are my chances of receiving any scholarship money if i do get accepted to USC?
-if not, how do i go about receiving any scholarship money? (besides income based financial aide)
-will USC call me to do an interview with them, if i make it further through the acceptance process?

1- Ask here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/990410-usc-2011-transfer-thread.html</a>
2- One Rec. Form on “New Applicant Toolkit” thread if you need it.
3- Fewer than 30 college semester units, they look primarily at high school. 30 or more, primarily your college work. (And the 30 units must be actual college units - AP/IB do not count).
4- I don’t know - Ask on the transfer thread.
5- Many people use things like FastWeb.
6- No, USC will not call transfer applicants for an admissions interview unless you choose a major or program that has audition requirements.
7- ^
8- It will “count” in terms of transfer credit. Many transfer applicants receive spring grade requests rather than decisions on June 1st. They must submit their spring grades and wait until mid-to-late July for their decisions. If you receive a spring grade request, your spring grades will be very important in terms of your admission chances.

They know LOTS more over on the transfer thread, so check it out. Good luck!

thank you for the help! I’m very grateful you took the time to go through this, i will definitely check the transfer thread for more information, thank you for posting the link btw

and im on track to have over 30 credits right now, so this is good news because i really don’t want my high school record, which isn’t the greatest, to bring me down in their eyes.
