<p>Staff Sgt. Eric Brumbley, an active-duty helicopter airframe mechanic is a member of one of three Marine Reserve units from Louisiana scheduled for deployment from Belle Chasse Naval Air Station. </p>

<p>It will be at least a second tour in Iraq for more than 75% of these Marines, and one of the units also served in Afghanistan in 2003. They’re headed now for Al Anbar province, the most violent part of Iraq, to relieve active duty Marines who are there now. (Al Anbar includes Fallulujah).</p>

<p>From a statistical standpoint, Louisiana is about 11th in the nation in per capita deployments of National Guard and Reservists, and 9th in the number of troops killed in action per capital.</p>
