<p>To all of the wonderful parents out that are always so helpful here on CC, I would love to hear what you got your daughter’s for high school graduation. Nothing extravagant, as we are making her dream school a reality for her:)</p>
<p>Daughter and I have an inside joke between the two of us about starfish…so I got her a sterling starfish necklace on ebay (NOT the one I saw at Tiffany’s last summer!). Thirty bucks or so. Hopefully, it will be a happy memento for her when she’s away.</p>
<p>Grandparents gave her luggage, we gave her laptop, aunt made her jewelry. Everyone else gave cash. I think she liked the jewelry best!</p>
<p>I gave my D a necklace with tiny diamonds in it. She hardly ever wears jewelry but I don’t think it’s been off her neck for the last 5 years.</p>
<p>a laptop will be practical - you’ll have to buy it anyway ;)</p>
