I read that these universities have a holistic approach to applications, but I am worried that admissions officers immediately bypass my application due to low composite (28-30, with perfects in reading/English and writing section). I was offered an interview a couple of days after I submitted, which I know doesn’t mean much. So, is it true that the approach is holistic, or would my app be thrown out right away due to the score.
I forgot to mention that I used the additional information section to explain the weird academic trends in my application due to medical emergencies with both of my parents, which severely impacted my performance.
