I got a pretty average composite score on my SAT with a 1360 (reading- 700, math- 660), but I got a 23 combined writing score for my essay (8, 7, 8).
Is this still a competitive score overall?
The term Competitive has little meaning without some kind of school list. For most in-state schools it’s probably fine. For some schools with many more applicants it may not be.
