low extra ciriculars

Hey I realize that a lot of people who apply to top schools have a lot of stellar extracurriculars, what if I need to get a job at school to help pay for my high school tuition? I only got the job in my junior year, wasn’t of age in sophomore year.

Jobs are considered a very strong EC due to the level of maturity and responsibility that is required. Any job – even working fastfood – is impressive. It’s especially impressive if one is working a job to help pay for college (shows a high level of commitment to education) or to help with family finances.
