Low GPA Accounting

<p>I currently have a 2.9 GPA and am a freshman. I was told by recruiters that I have no chance of getting hired even with my professional experience. I interviewed multiple times this year but never passed the second interview. I have been changing my study habits to be more efficient and have been averaging on 40-60 hours of studying each week. I can’t retake or drop classes since my GPA isn’t “low enough”.</p>

<p>What should I do? How can I ever get an internship/job or E-Board position?</p>

<p>The fact that you’re being interviewed means that recruiters are overlooking your GPA. What positions are you interviewing for? You’re only a freshman so you have a lot of time to improve your GPA. Relax and focus on doing well in classes. Since you haven’t passed your second interviews, you may want to work on your interview skills as well.</p>
