What about math above PreCal? If your school offers AP Calc you really should take the highest available no matter your major for Ivys, doubly-so if a STEM major. If offered, BC will be pretty much expected. Also make sure you have chem/physics courses in your record somewhere. You probably have them, but not noted, but just reiterating…
That is true, but U. of Delaware offers a major in neuroscience and its biology major contains a concentrations in Molecular Biology & Genetics. Thus, I don’t think the Academic Common Market is going to be of much use for OP unless there’s a big switch in direction.
If you want to stay in an urban environment like UPenn have you considered looking into Drexel? It definitely wouldn’t be as inexpensive as UD but does give merit and has multiple majors related to the sciences/pre health. It would be really nice to have a choice of admissions come next spring rather than UD at $30k or nothing or maybe one fancy name that is $90k/yr. Rutgers out of state is $50k and might be worth looking into. University of Scranton is strong in sciences, I know 2 MDs who did undergraduate there. Good luck!
@Some1oneRandom so…how is your college search going? Did your ACT or SAT score improve? How were your grades this year? Have you found some good colleges with a variety of admission competitiveness to apply to? That are affordable?
