Low GPA but High SAT Score

I have a 2.5 unweighted GPA right now out of a 5.0. This was due to extreme depression during my freshman and sophomore years. i completely stopped trying and thought that it wasn’t even worth it to study or get good grades. However, I recently found my way again and am trying so hard to get into a good school now. I am in my Junior year and am in only in 2 honors classes right now and the rest are regulars but I am getting solid A’s in all of the classes. But I only have 3 quarters left. I can raise it up to a 2.6, maybe a 2.7 by the end of my Junior year, however I know this is definitely not enough to get into a good college. My SAT score on the other hand, is at a 2250 right now and I am planning to take it again to score between 2300-2400. How good are my chances to get into schools like Villanova? or Lehigh? I also do not do a lot of extra curricular activities.

EDIT: Oh. And I go to a prestigious high school (top 10 in my state i think) that is known to be somewhat difficult, so I’m pretty sure the average GPA at my school is not that high. I can’t give an estimate however.

bump

bumppp ;-;

Go to community college and switch out to a university. Your GPA is a bit low for “good” colleges, even if your school’s GPA is low. Look at your school’s Naviance to see where you stand in terms of getting into colleges, if you don’t want to go the community college route.

Villanova and Lehigh are high reaches due to your GPA.
Go to CC. That’s the best bet for you. Get a good grades then transfer.
