Low GPA, chances? ED II

<p>Will Wesleyan not even look at my app with a 3.65 GPA? </p>

<p>Granted my GPA was adversely affected from being sick one year (which I will explain in a letter) . </p>

<p>ACT: 30 </p>

<p>Interview went really well. </p>

<p>Recommendations are excellent.</p>

<p>EC’s are my hook and are what I feel will get me in. I don’t want to get too specific to be identified on here but basically I feel my application is solid minus my GPA.</p>

<p>If I were you I would not be so worried about that GPA. Wesleyan actually does practice holistic admissions decision-making, looking at everything in your file. A 3.65 is not such a terrible GPA. Your ACT is a bit low for what they typically see, but if your EC’s are really exceptional and your recos are fantastic, you should have a good shot. Best of luck to you.</p>
