Low GPA, Difficult high school...

<p>Hey everyone</p>

<p>The title says it all. I attend Phillips Exeter Academy and will be applying to college with a GPA around 3.1 and a 2040 SAT.</p>

<p>Can I get into colleges like:</p>

<p>John's Hopkins
Georgetown
New York U</p>

<p>Or should just hope for:</p>

<p>Boston U
George Washington
American U
U Maryland
U Deleware</p>

<p>You should be fine for NYU, but retake the SATs to improve your chances at JHU and Georgetown.</p>

<p>UMBC is a great school if you are minority. They will practically give you money. Then, take your 1st choices into consideration for grad school. That school needs to lead in your feed.</p>
