What colleges could I get in with a 3.6 GPA (WEIGHTED) + 2200 SAT?
I am also a Washington State Resident…is it possible for me to get into UW-Seattle?

3.6 is not a low GPA.

2.0 is.

Google “Common Data Set University of Washington Seattle” and you should be able to see where your stats place you. This info. is buried somewhere in the university’s website.

It also is OK to just call the admissions office there and ask.

Greetings,

I had a medical conditional in high school (my doctor and school even signed a form giving unlimited absences) and I graduated in 2008 with a 1.9 GPA. While in high school, I took the SAT and got a combined math/reading score of 1300 or 1310 (can’t remember).

I was wondering which universities are lenient with students who have a low GPA due to medical hardship, but higher SAT scores.

I took a gap year after highschool and have been helping my mom through bankruptcy and divorce and also have been volunteering (over 400 hours with hospice and the conservation corps).

I have 8 years of formal instruction in piano, martial arts, and equestrian sport. Along with 16 years formal instruction in painting/drawing.

I know community college is a great option (I’m in california), but I would rather try applying as a freshman to a university first. So, again, are there any universities that admit students like myself? :/
