Low GPA, Moderately high [practice] SAT UVa chances?

<p>I’m aware that my GPA/Class Rank is pretty &$%# pathetic. </p>

<p>I had straight As and A+s freshman and sophomore year. But I’ll tell them it was partially due to external factors (friend’s health problems and family health problems) my grades dropped to 5 Bs and 2 Cs in my junior year. I had 4 APs.</p>

<p>This year I have 5 APs. So far I have 2 Bs (which I will bring up) and 2 As and 3 A+s. </p>

<p>If I can get high grades my first quarter of senior year and if I can pull off a 2250ish (perhaps 2300?)SAT, with my EC activities and leadership, would I be able to get into UVa? Or will my GPA kill me no matter what?</p>
