<p>can i get into any of the first tier national universities with a 2.5 first sem gpa? i dont like my where i am right now and i want to transfer out asap.</p>

<p>btw, if they see youve made improvement in a certain area, will they give that extra consideration.</p>

<p>first tier? no way. second tier? still probably reaching, but doable. LACs tend to look more at ECs and essays than do big state unis, but still, with a 2.5 its not going to be easy to get into a very quality school… maybe stay another semester and try to get above a 3.3? probably higher for tier 1 universities</p>
