So basically I have been getting low grades all my highschool career. I am currently a junior, and counting this year I have so far taken 10 honors classes, and 2 aps (ap gov, ap calc). My weighted cumulative numerical average is an 87, and my class rank is pretty low. I got a 2020 on the Sat. I have been playing football throughout highschool, i’m on varsity this year, but I am not a recruited athlete. The one thing I do excel at is the Violin though. I have made many orchestras, including all-state, and I am the concert master of my high school’s top orchestra. I’m looking to take at leats 4 ap’s my senior year, and ap econ this summer.I also have a lot of service hours.

What are my chances for universities such as USC, Ohio Sate, UGA, University of Illinois, Georgia Tech, or the University of Miami?

Also would it be better if i applied as a music major to these schools, since I can swith majors once i’m in, or should i just apply regularly?
