Low SAT II?

SAT I one sitting: 2340 (770 CR 770 Math 800 Writing)
4.0 GPA UW, 11 AP Courses (5’s on all 7 so far, taking 4 this year)
Highest SAT II scores: 740 USH 700 Math II 640 Physics
November 2011 scores: 640 Math II 570 Physics

Obviously, I did not perform up to par with my usual standards. I attempted to retake my SAT II this past month, but with some impromptu unusual circumstances. I went into the test a couple days after my sister’s death anniversary, and my grandmother just found out that he passed away (my whole family lied to her in order not to endanger her health condition; my sister passed away only a couple months after my grandfather did and my grandmother is living with heart disease). She lives in Japan, and during the week of my testing, there was a lot of family issues and problems. I’m honestly not offering this as an excuse, but I KNOW I could’ve done better especially because I had been scoring 740+ on Barron’s Math II and 760-780 range for PR and Sparknotes Physics. Also, I’m taking multivariable calculus at an engineering school (AP Calc BC-5, AP Physics B- 5). This is definitely not a normal score for me.

Some of the schools I’m applying to (ie. UPenn, Carnegie Mellon, which are both 2 of my top choices) DO NOT allow score choice for either SAT I or subject tests. I’m wondering, should I write about the circumstance in the additional information section of my application? Or am I pretty much screwed?

Thanks.
