I currently have a low gpa (well I think it is), plus my sat scores a very low as well. I have a 3.3 weighted gpa (3.0 unweighted) and I took the sat twice and my best score is a 1020… I go to school with a 5.0 gpa scale with a harder grading system, but I feel like that doesn’t really matter. I really want to attend Caldwell University with scholarship money, but my sat score is nowhere near the scholarship requirement. What should I do? I am not looking to go to community college, and I REALLY need scholarship money especially coming from a broken home.
How much are your parents willing and able to pay each year for college? What colleges are within commuting distance for you? Have completed the NPC for Caldwell U? What is your familybFFSA EFC, Are you a NJ state resident? What state aid is available to you?

My friend’s child had very similar stats and will be attending Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ this fall. In fact, her child’s SAT score was lower than yours. Received very generous FA as well as merit aid.
