I took the May 3rd SAT and I was wasn’t really happy with my scores. I got a 580 in Critical Reading, 450 in Math, and a 550 in Writing. Most of the colleges I’m planning to apply to need somewhere around a 1800. Do you think I can get a 1800 by studying this summer? If so, what books or websites do you recommend?

Read through the pinned topics in this section, specifically xiggi’s guide and silverturtle’s guide, and apply their methods and see how you improve. As for books, the Collegeboard’s official guide (the Blue Book) is great for practice tests.

You can look here for past SAT curves: <a href=“Past SAT Curves - The College Panda”>http://■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com/past-sat-curves/. If you’re going to aim for 600/600/600, you need about 4 more correct in Writing, 1-2 more correct in Writing, and about 15 more in Math. That’s a tall order and definitely unlikely, but possible with a focused effort.
