–currently attending community college fulltime (16 hours both semesters) during senior year for lack of enough AP/IB classes (4.0 GPA at college)
–taken all 3 AP’s offered at highschool
–Presidents List, PTK, and several other academic clubs/awards</p>

–tutor at current college (as a current HS student)
–secretary of peer awareness club at college
–heavily involved in cultural diffusion clubs and dancing, etc for community
–sunday school teacher at catholic church

–current member of college Honors program and student government representative for the club for the student govmt asscociation.

–currently working with political science club on large concert/ fundraisers for aids orphans in kenya</p>

<p>I know my scores are weak, but how much will they weigh a disavantaged rural community (minus the educated father) and my choosing to attend college?</p>

<p>I think you’re in at BC and Rice. I’m not as familiar with Amherst, Brown and Duke but considering your GPA, class rank and motivation outside high school I think you stand a pretty good chance even though your SAT scores are slightly below the ranges for those schools.</p>
