Sooo I want to go to Cornell and currently this is my profile
GPA: ~3.8 uw 4.0 w
SAT: 1700 (590M, 540 CR, 570 W)
ACT: 26 (22E, 25 M, 31R, 26S)
I know my extra curriculars are stellar as well as my course rigor, but for some reason I cant get these test scores
Any advice?
Are you using worthwhile prep books? Maybe considering a tutor or prep course? It’ll probably make a noticeable difference in your test scores. Get the Blue Book by Collegeboard for the SAT and do some practice tests. For ACT, I don’t know about that, but I’ve heard that the real ACT prep book (I think that’s the prep book name lol) is useful for practice tests. But yeah, do those practice tests and go over the questions. Look for patterns in the questions and where you need to focus. Consider doing a “postmortem” after each practice test, analyzing questions and seeing how you could’ve done them with efficiency and accuracy.
