Low Test Scores

Has anybody gotten in with SAT scores around 1500/2400 or 23 ACT?

Unless I’m mistaken (its been a year since I’ve taken the SAT), a 2400 is the highest possible score one can score on the test, so it shouldn’t be a problem… however, 2400 and 1500 cannot possibly be the same score (The newer SAT scale is out of 2400, while the older one, without the writing section, is out of 1600, if someone were to score a 2400, then they would have to have scored a 1600 under the old format).

^ The OP meant 1500 out of 2400.

Oh… doi. I need to get more sleep…

Those scores are pretty low for NEU… I’d imagine very few get in with a 1500/23, and those who do are probably exceptional in the rest of the application.

Too lazy to look up last year’s average SAT, but seems like applicants usually have 1800+, or at least close into that range.
