Low Undergraduate GPA trying to get into energy sector

I graduated from a D1 Business School in KS in May of 2008 with a B.S. in Finance. My dream job would be to get into either grain marketing or marketing other commodities such as electricity/nat. gas/oil. My undergraduate gpa was 2.88, not terrible but I worked my arse off through college paying for it myself and without ever getting into debt while playing collegiate golf my fresh/soph years. Turns out that the companies that I am applying to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to even get an interview. I am a very analytical individual and I know I can succeed in a career in trading. I am now working for myself and an investor buying and fixing up houses and selling them, good money but I know I have much better potential. I thought about going back and getting an MBA or MA of Economics but would like to have a job first lined out, does anyone have any pointers?? It's greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
