I have been denied due to “Lower Division Denial”. I am an MCB major and I have completed my Biology courses and my Calculus requirement. The chemistry portion is recommended for sophomore transfers but not required. Anyway, I will be taking chemistry over the summer to fulfill that recommendation as well. In my original application, I included an additional essay stating I would be taking chemistry over the summer and I got an E-mail from the Assistant Director of Admissions asking for the Course Number and the rubric.
My GPA is a 3.1 at Loyola
My HS GPA is a 3.0
My ACT was a 27
I had plenty of extracurriculars.

Is there anything I can say in my appeal letter that would help my situation?

Thank You Very Much
