Lower level transfer to Chico State

Okay, so I got accepted to Chico my senior year, but I chose not to attend. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do career wise, I had a boyfriend in my hometown, and I was worried about student loans. Stupid. Anyways!

Now I’m in community college and it’s driving me crazy. The people at this school are so discouraging to be around every day and the lack of things to do outside of just going to class is really frustrating. I was excited to go to college and make new friends, and I just don’t see that happening here.

Anyways, I want to major in Business Administration(Entrepreneurship concentration) and minor in Photography(finally made up my mind!) and I want to own my own wedding photography business. Chico state seems like a good fit to me. I’ll have about 40 credits when I transfer.

I’ve heard that being a lower division transfer decreases your chances of being accepted? Would this hold true to me when I was previously accepted to the school? I got an 1810 on the SAT’s and had a 3.7 GPA, if that matters.

Thanks for your help in advance. :)
