Lowe's District Manager

What degree would be most useful if this is your goal? Supply chain, general, venture management?

Any thoughts?

Business Management would be the degree for that.

I would say none of the above. You are not going to get a Lowe’s management job straight out of college. Don’t take my word for it, just look at what Lowe’s says…

“Management
Many of our current Store and District Managers began their careers in entry-level sales, and support positions.”

They obviously stress experience over education. If that is truly your ultimate goal and are steadfast on being in that position, work there and skip the college track. The latter will be a waste of time and money unless you take the longer route of working professionally and then applying to Lowe’s in a management capacity. In this case you would want to get a degree in areas such as either accounting, finance, or supply side management.
