What is the lowest ACT score someone had that was accepted into USC? no hooks, athletics or legacy involved.

Also, have there been any people who just submitted an ACT score and no SAT scores who got accepted?

Probably a 28? I think if you get a 32 or better you got a chance with good grades!

Im going to guess that if you had fantastic grades and ec’s you might be able to squeak in with a 26? Idk but you’d need great grades and great ec’s to make for any act lower than 27.

Most of the midwest applicants to SC just submit the ACT. Students who have sent in ACT scores OR SAT scores are both admitted.

The ACT for admitted students last year was 30-33. If you are applying to one of the art schools your audition or portfolio is of major importance.

USC has a holistic view of admissions. However, a 27 or 28 ACT would make it a high reach for you, in my opinion.

Current SC student here. I only sent USC my ACT score; it was better than my SAT so that’s why I sent it in. From what I’ve heard, colleges will just convert the ACT score to an SAT score. And none of them care which one you send in, with the exception of Johns Hopkins. But who would want to live in Baltimore anyway? ;P
