• currently taking a college class at local ec
 • 50 hours at local hospital as volunteer

-graduating high school a year early.

stats:

80 over av.
22 on act ( but 28 on reading and 10 on writing)
580 on lit sat 11 and us history

what do you think? can i get in?

It will be a reach.
This sounds awful, but I would try to play the brain surgery to your advantage.

thank you for replying! i talked about it a lot in my admissions essay. I really want to get in!! i really don’t think i will though! Did you apply ED or RD?

RD, I applied ED to Columbia and got rejected!

You know there are special learning circumstances that colleges take into consideration when reviewing applications. At our school a kid who got injured in a football game went into this thing called a 504 plan and the school had to slack off on some of the deadlines of papers and tests. Anyway, the admissions people should be aware of your health issues and maybe there is a plan like the 504 that they just don’t tell people about unless you ask.
