Wow! Congrats on your acceptance! You heard back early which I’m sure is nice. When did your child apply? My daughter applied to school of nursing as well!! She has a 3.5 with a positive trend so she’s curious if she’ll get in. Submitted app on 10/29 and haven’t heard back yet. Her friend also applied (she has a 4.3) to the school of nursing on 10/23 and hasn’t heard anything either. Congrats again!

So weird! Also applied 10/29 and was accepted 11/3. We were shocked at the quick turnaround! Have they checked their portal? She checked to make sure they received everything and found an acceptance letter with 29k Merit! She’s super happy she got into a Direct Admit program. As I’m sure you both know, it’s SO hard out there for Nursing because of so few programs. Good luck to your daughter and her friend!

I applied on 10/13 and still haven’t heard back yet. I just checked the student portal and the “Let’s get started” thing disappeared. I’m nervous to see what comes from this.

Wow that is weird! She might have to follow up with admissions. Everything looks good on both their ends and it seems their applications are submitted correctly.

And yes, she has been so stressed about getting into direct admit programs because of how competitive it is! Luckily my daughter got into Seton Halls direct admit program so she’s feeling a bit relived. She’s going call admissions tomorrow and double check her portal to make sure everything is in. Will keep updated. Thanks for the info! It is very appreciated

D24 applied mid oct and heard back mid November. Accepted with Presidential Scholarship. UW 3.7 ACT 32. It’s nice to have an early acceptance and grateful for the scholarship. Still waiting on other decisions starting next week. Good luck to all.

She emailed admissions and they said students should hear back “very early in the new year.” Her friend emailed and they said the same thing. This is sus lol. Maybe its where we live? I have no clue but she’s not taking this as a good sign.

Ugh! I wouldn’t read too much into it. (where are you from btw?) Maybe my kid’s app got in right before an influx… def keep me updated. Maybe our girls will end up there together!

Ah yes! Yes I agree with you. We live in NOVA. Less then 30 mins outside of D.C.

My daughter applied as well! We reached out to her admission advisor and she wrote us back last Wednesday saying …“We are in the process of completing the review of your application. Once we have a decision for you, you will get an update on your student portal and then a package will be sent to your home.”

“Package” sounds promising?! Lol hopefully it’s soon!

My D24 applied October 1 and received a letter notifying her of acceptance and $27k/year merit on October 31. Fingers crossed those of you still waiting hear soon!

We STILL haven’t gotten “the package” and she was accepted 5 weeks ago…

NVM!!! The acceptance “package” is a large envelope and it was in the mailbox just NOW! lol

My daughter was accepted with presidential scholarship and her letter stated with a declared major of nursing. Is there another letter that would state direct admit to the school of nursing? Other universities sent separate direct admit to nursing letters afterwards.

We didn’t receive anything from the School of Nursing from Loyola directly only the main admissions letter. We are still waiting on 90% of her applications…What schools sent separate?

My daughter is an international student who applied in late November and just got her acceptance letter on the 19th of January w/ the Presidential Scholarship. She was interested in applying for the Honors Program. How exactly did you go about doing it? Must she wait for an invitation on her portal?

My son was accepted last week with the Dean’s merit $22000 major in history.

What are your son’s stats? Trying to gauge what kind of merit $ my S25 might get next year.

I got in in October, applied in late August to mid September, computer science major, international student, and recieved a $28k/year scholarship.

3.5 UW, (I think a 1330 or my 1430 SAT; one or the other), (I think 30 ACT), good ECs and LORs, spent all summer on my main essays, 7 APs and 5 honors classes throughout high shcool
