Mine too! Also film. It is very exciting. Do you think your student will attend or still waiting on more decisions? What pathway? Directing, cinematography, editing …?
Not the original poster for the question, but my son was accepted for film, chose the production/directing pathway.
We’re still considering b/c while LMU is far and away the best film school he applied to, it’s also far and away the most expensive. He’s also very interested in Korean studies, and LMU only has an Asian studies program, so fewer chances to minor in anything Korean related.
It’ll be a tough choice I think.

Son was admitted ED undeclared to arts and sciences school out before Thanksgiving. Got merit info on Friday. Arrupe scholarship of $23k a year for four years plus 2.5k a year for ED. GPA 3.5. Surprised with the level of scholarship considering his GPA. It was described a leadership type scholarship so assuming it was based on other ECs and his essay.
Son was accepted EA to College of Business Administration - he is very excited, it is one of his top choices, he loved the campus when we visited this fall. GPA 3.95 UW, SAT 1460.
