That was awesome!

Did your S end up going to LMU?

Yes. (10 char)

Hi Shrinkrap, how is your son liking it there? My son got accepted at LMU :)

He is finding the academics (engineering) stressful, but LOVINg the rest.

Glad he likes LMU. What about the academics is stressful, I hope you dont mind me asking.

I am not too sure, but I know he is working as hard as he has ever worked before. He is no typical CC kid. He was one of those 3.0 kids, or not even 3.0 for most of high school, but he made huge leaps and bounds in junior and senior year, and did relatively well on the SAT. So he is at his “reach”.

Of his classes this semester, chemistry is by far, the major challenge. But he has also mentioned being responsible for so many day to day details of his life is stressful. As far as I can tell, he takes it pretty seriously, and is handling things as well as I could have imagined.

That is indeed good to know. Wish him all the best.

Which engineering is he interested in? I know my son also would not be too happy with chemistry. How many freshman in engineering - if he can find out please, thanks so much.
