Not a school that gets much mention here. It would be a very strong safety for my D28, and since it isn’t too far away we are attending their summer preview day next week. This will be her first formal on-campus school tour or open house so it’s also a low stakes visit in that regard.
Thoughts on the overall experience, academics including honors program, “vibe” of the type of students who are happy there, access to research. Hopkins is right down the road but would be a mega reach and very different experience.
Considering the last thread on Loyola is four years old and about its political leanings, I’ll say we are Catholic but more in the Pope Leo mold than Amy Comey Barrett if that matters in any responses.
