Does anyone out there have knowledge of the elementary ed program at Loyola? A friend is deciding between Loyola and TCNJ and is having a hard time getting details of the education program at Loyola, even after asking specific questions at admitted students day. The program at TCNJ has a wonderful reputation but she likes Loyola more. I told her I’d ask here to see if anyone has first hand experience. Thanks!
Cost differential?
The two schools are more or less equal academically. Is she in-state for TCNJ?
TCNJ is one of the top ranked(like in top 5) schools in the entire country for ED. I don’t know about Loyola.
@LBad96 yes she is in state, and she is a twin, so cost is a factor, but not one that her parents want to make a deal breaker.
Loyola’s program is also very strong, as I have a very good friend who is a junior there. But if the cost difference is significant (like $20,000+ more), then she should choose TCNJ.
