Where can I find a definite list of institutions accepted in LSAC GPA calculations? or that are necessary to submit to LSAC? I’ve been to the LSAC website, and I read what units are calculated and which are not, but it’s still kind of vague.

My question is regarding the Defense Language Institute. I attended DLI back in 2002 - 2004. My gpa from DLI calculated in with my normal college gpa is about 3.67 or 3.68. However, only certain institutions accept units from DLI, and even then only certain courses are accepted from the school.

I’m just curious because my gpa has a significant difference between my University gpa alone and calculated with my DLI gpa. Normally, my gpa is about 3.83.

Just kind of frustrating because the language courses at DLI are so high paced, and far more difficult than anything I’m facing at my university. Also, I got selected into a CAT-4 language, which are the most difficult languages. I had the second highest gpa in my class (we were one of the lucky classes that no native speakers snuck into to relax for a year and a half), but it is still crippling to my overall gpa. Hate to *****, but I feel like I’m getting screwed over for accepting a more difficult Army MOS. I obviously have to submit my transcripts either way, but it’s kind of hindering my decision of the schools to which I should apply this fall. I already have my LSAT score.
