LSAT as a pre-med student

If I were to take the LSAT and do well on it. Would there be a way to let med schools know about it. Is it even a good idea?

I believe there is a line on the AMCAS application that asks if you have any other test scores that you want to report.

…why would you take the LSAT as a pre-med student (unless you mean you already took the LSAT cuz you were pre-law but recently decided to be pre-med)?

Son entered his GMAT score along with his MCAT on the AMCAS. Needs it for his MD/MBA. He does know of others from his undergrad that also took the LSAT and are pursuing an MD/JD. One of his closer friends is doing a JD/MBA at Columbia…a 3 year program. Of course you have to pay BOTH tuitions at the same time.

I was a bit ambiguous and unclear. I mean, will it give you a leg up on the competition.

no, definitely not

Agree with Brown…son did it because he needed it for the programs he was applying to.

Thank you 10char

No leg up
Unless you are interested in combined degree
