Fees aside, and assuming admission to both, which is the preferred? Which is better looking on a resume?
I would say it depends on what sort of experience you are after. Both are academically excellent with Warwick being the newly developed University recently having achieved great things. Whereas LSE has been a leader for a number of decades.
LSE SS is a larger scale programme with thousands of students every year. It has less individual focus and is more of a 3 week University lecture programme where you can head into London to have your night out after lectures finish.
Warwick Economics SS is another 3 week programme with around 200 students. It is a campus university in the midlands of the UK, but still only an hour by train to London. It was only established a few years ago but seems to be a great programme offering lots of inclusions in the fee you pay with a guest lecture series involving Nobel Prize winners and a busy social programme - all at no extra cost.
If you want academic excellence, fun and value for money - i would suggest that “WESS” is a better option as they have more professors teaching rather than postgraduate students and lots more for your money. You won’t ever be bored.
If you are looking to just get yourself a transcript of results - i would go for LSE. Hope this helps!
