LSE vs KCL philosophy

LSE for a MSc in Phil. of Social Science versus KCL for a MA in Phil. (general) – does anyone here know about the quality of teaching at these two departments?

Usually I’d recommend KCL here given its excellent department and teaching reputation and given that LSE is famed (for lack of a better word) for poor teaching at the master’s level - enough so that even in a recent edition of the Beaver there was a report on LSE’s administration starting to acknowledge this reputation.

That said, KCL recently announced plans to fire a number of senior philosophy lecturers and professors (budgets etc). I don’t have all the details, but if you search on facebook, there is a group that has the latest. Even academics at UCL have been writing to the King’s administration to voice their disgust.

So King’s for better teaching though it might not have any teachers at all soon, which will make your question redundant.
