LSP and Fin Aid

Hi, I got into the Liberal Studies Program.
My financial aid was 38,500 in scholarships/grants and I don’t live that far from NYC. I can commute there in 30-40 minutes. I know tuition is about 41,000 and I can technically take some loans, do my work study 3000 dollars, and pay off these loans every year. But instead, should I go to my state school and dorm there with only having to take like 3,000 loans? In my opinion, commuting seems like a hassle, and is it worth it to attend LSP. I applied for CAS originally but now I am thinking about going into business, so is LSP worth it in the end? All the people I know are telling me to go to NYU because its prestigious, but in the end, I just want a job that pays well.

If you want to study business at Stern, I don’t think it’s possible to transfer from LSP to Stern. So, if that’s for sure what you want to study LSP would not be in your interest
