Class Description: Sports and entertainment have emerged as two of the leading cultural and influential industries of the 21st century. Study breaks down the stakeholders in the production of sports–executives, players, agents and support staff–while discussing who the audience is, what they want, why they matter, and how the experience can be improved for them, both in-venue and at home. This is done through conversations between Peter Guber, owner of the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Dodgers and the biggest owner of minor league baseball teams in the world, and his marquee guests including team owners, players, coaches, commentators, technology leaders, media makers, and commissioners.
