[A ONE-MAN IVY LEAGUE - New York Post](A ONE-MAN IVY LEAGUE)
This kid got accepted into 18 selective colleges! And 7 out of the 7 Ivies to which he applied to! And he couldn’t speak English until he was in 7th grade! He is attending Harvard, and had gotten into Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell, etc.!

Hahaha I just read an article about this kid on MSN. It’s sick is what it is…

What’s up with like a bajillion of threads on the exact same topic?

He’s smart. We get it.

This is so annoying. The good old american kids dont have a chance when a foreign kid tells his sad story of moving and learning a new language. Coming from a student who can fluently speak 4 languages, is part of the model UN team, Mocktrial team, and Captain of the debate team just like this wizz, I dont think I will be accepted to all 7 Ivies, my story is just not amazing enough and its unfair.

I think admission committees value their prospective students being humble, NicsAGenius, rather than a laundry list of extracurriculars.

Excuse me while I applaud loudly for bringing up a thread 6 months old.

man this is so old
