Lunar Eclipse!

Wonderful views here. We got really lucky, as we rarely see anything in the sky, due to many mature trees and constant cloud cover. There were a few light clouds floating by, but because the moon was so bright, they never interfered. It was a nice hour spent talking with neighbors, but unfortunately, none of our cameras could adequately caputere the event.

It was absolutely spectacular here in MN. Very clear skies.

I think we should be able to see it again tonight.
It was too cloudy to see anything over here.

The eclipse was beautiful here. Not a cloud in the sky. We saw a couple of shooting stars, too. DH managed to get a great photo - he set up the tripod and used his good camera.

We watched the whole thing. Neighbors had their telescope out. Another neighbor brought wine. Fun time.

I was disappointed to NOT see any other neighbors out - come on people!

I love things like this that are simple, cool and bring the whole nation out to watch a natural phenomenon!

Was cloudy here :frowning: But love the many striking photos posted on the web.

Watched it!

Typical eclipse, happens around here and we get clouds…night before was clear, figures.

I didn’t expect to be able to see it based on the weather forecast , but I did ! I was home alone though because my husband drove our daughter back to school. Still, it was beautiful . I wish I had a better camera to catch it , but I could barely see it through the lens

Gosh darn- was lucky to see the moon a bit among the clouds last night. After a very rainy summer we finally had a stretch of no rain for several days- which ended a day too soon. Hope to be alive in 18 more years for the next perigee full moon eclipse.
