Lupe Fiasco

Excuse me, but did someone just say Eminem makes great beats? ■■■■■…

^■■■■■ has some good stuff.

Old Eminem had better beats.

New Eminem is eh.

i will be at best buy tomorrow getting Lasers

I got no money… so I’ll pick it up when I have the money.

I’m going to go all the way to my computer and buy it on iTunes. Just thinking about it makes me tired.

If he left Atlantic I’d be so happy. My friends who heard it when it leaked said they could hear Atlantic all over it.

Still gonna buy it.

Still buy it, it should still go plat.

But the day he leaves Atlantic, any real Lupe fan will stand up and cheer.

i’ll cry. 10 char damnit.

oh my bad, ■■■■■ the artist is absolute garbage, I was just laughing at the thought of em being a great beatmaker. Yeah, maybe in 2002…for his own album. But his beats should never be on a jay-z album let alone a rick ross record (for those who don’t get it, rozay chooses the best beats for his albums)

^haha, it’s fine; it was my attempt at a pun.

I agree with you about Jay-Z, though. Did you buy Lasers already?

LASERS :)

10char

LASERS was the biggest joke of an album ive heard in a while. i bet lupe hates it himself, with the exception of Words I never said and All Black Everything. Damn Atlantic.

He said at times he hated it himself.

Because of all the tracks that aren’t his.

The hook for Words I never Said was meant for a love song… so he ****ed him over with that.

All Black Everything was his.

"He said at times he hated it himself.

Because of all the tracks that aren’t his.

The hook for Words I never Said was meant for a love song… so he ****ed him over with that.

All Black Everything was his. "

serious? Then why put it out? why not just quit?

He said the fans pulled him through it.

Did it for the fans.

While the hook for WINS was for a love song… He still managed to make it for the fans.

Yep, and you can totally hear it.

From what I’m noticing, the people who say Lasers is a great album are the ones who aren’t all that familiar with him. I guess it’s good by general mainstream hip-hop standards, but it’s not good by Lupe standards.

All black everything!. Lupe was way too mainstream this time. At least he’ll make some money off this joint.

Alright I’m probably the biggest Lupe stan on here, but hear me out on Lasers. It’s a good album. No, it’s not F&L or the Cool, but if you ignore that, and focus on the lyrics, it still is Lu.

Yeah, Atlantic made him do some songs. But you can’t tell me that Lu didn’t want to make Letting Go, Words I Never Said, Till I Get There, Beautiful Lasers, Coming Up, or All Black Everything. Those songs have just as much of a right as Hurt Me Soul or Go Go Gadet Flow in a discussion of Lupe’s best. They’re easily better than some songs F&L and the Cool (and I love both).

Take it for what it is, and be happy that we got some new Lupe after 3 years.

And remember, Lu said himself that “Atlantic is not in the studio” for Food and Liquor II.

FNF UP!
