Lying about AP scores

I know it’s bad. I know I made a mistake…but I did it and it’s in the past…
I lied about 1 of my AP scores & although it might not even be checked…should I risk sending my AP scores to cornell? Do you think they check the score report against the common app?

… big mistake. Huge. In my opinion, lying about scores will definitely hurt (if not kill) your application. Even if it’s “just” an AP score, it is nevertheless a score-and one that will be considered.

Be prepared, as many CCers will either laugh at you, pity you, or criticize you for lying about scores.

EMAIL THEM, and tell them you made a mistake on your Common App. Good luck man.

Yeah, shoot them an e-mail, just say it was a clerical error. Generally, they’re printed on your transcript, so you should come forward, because they’ve prolly already noticed.

simple e-mail claiming a typo. Better this lie than a lie on the score.
