lying

Wait, scratch that.

Lying is DEFINITELY the worst idea you could ever come up with.

Think of all those people who got in through hard work and diligence. Cutting lines will get you nowhere.

Please…stop responding to prosperous like she honestly wants to attend Exeter or she is genuinely interested in this question, other than to see a bunch of gullible people offer up the obvious answer and express the shock her question was calculated to evoke.

It truly is a complete waste of time. And look – I’ve done it again.

Oops! My bad on not giving props to D’yer for being the first to identify the ■■■■■…

I guess a few of us are a little slower on the ■■■■■ patrol. However, ■■■■■-outing is alway better with company. :)

Finis origine pendet.

Major School Rules at Choate, in order:

no drugs

no alcohol

“unsafe practices and possessions” - i.e. weapons, fires, fireworks, endangerment, master keys.

violations of curfew and absence from campus w/o permission (doesnt include town unless after study hours).

But basically one of the major, major school rules that they stress is academic integrity, and you’re kicked out faster than you can say “But I thought SparkNotes were allowed” if you do anything like that.

Please do not feed the animal!

Sparknotes aren’t allowed at Choate? Why? I read them over the summer about a book. Can’t remember which one. They were quite interesting.
blairt, just wondering, what in particular was that referencing? Is Finis origine pendent of motto of Exeter as well? I know it’s the motto that goes on our seal with the bees. :)

Why yes, prettyckitty, Exeter has been borrowing it from us for the past 225 years. I think what Blairt meant was that one could start out by lying, but that bad beginning does not bode well for the rest of one’s academic career.

Indeed so.

Man am i a while off the topic but don’t lie. Everybody on this board is an honest person willing to help you but if you lie you should expect the reactions you received.
