<p>The 2-year M.A. program in Transatlantic Studies is designed primarily for foreigners willing to continue their education at a graduate level, at one of Europe’s most prestigious unis - Jagiellonian University, in the fabulous city of Kraków. An affordable, one of a kind, educational and life experience.</p>

<p>INTERNSHIP
The M.A. in Trans-Atlantic Studies program at Jagiellonian University is offering an office internship to an applicant seeking admission to the TAS program.
One or two positions will be open during the 2009/2010 depending on the number of candidates and the final decision of the director. </p>

<p>The student will receive a tuition waiver for the 2009-2010 academic year (1/3 tuition payment for the last semester of studies – 1500 euro).</p>

<p>Position Requirements:
-knowledge of MS Word, MS Exel
-experience in work and administration
-good analytical skills
-two reference letters
-motivation letter
-fluent knowledge of English language</p>

<p>Responsibilities during the course of the student’s studies:
-completing the on-line library catalog
-writing official documents in English
-proof reading documents in English
-working toward the promotion of the TAS Program
-providing information to foreign students
-assisting with routine administration work</p>

<p>The internship will be offered to a winner of a competitive essay contest.</p>

<p>The focus of the essay should address the following topic:
What is the future of the relationship between the United States and the European Union in the increasingly globalized world of the 21st century?</p>

<p>The essay should be between 2,000 to 2,500 words and arrive via email attachment at <a href=“mailto:transatlantic@uj.edu.pl”>transatlantic@uj.edu.pl</a> by July 15, 2009. </p>

<p>A full application should be sent to the TAS office by July 15, 2009. The official results will be announced no later than on August 30, 2009. </p>
