I got the interview for the MET program near the beginning of January, and they said the decisions come out at an early notification date. Anyone got an idea of when this officially is (as in Berkeley has confirmed a date)? I know previously they released around Feb. 8th.

@Wandering2020 Based on the trends of previous years, I think MET (and regents) will be released this Friday Feb 7 around 3:00 or 3:30 pm. Good luck everyone!

Thanks! I think it might be my EC/Leadership in both engineering and entrepreneurship. My test scores are not that high, I didn’t do much community service, and don’t really have a highly prized award.

For ECs, here are some main ones

  • Founder of my school’s Technology and Innovation club
  • Have done an independent research: invented something, got a patent, and built a company around the invention.
  • Leader of my school’s business club
  • Leader of the robotics club
  • Frisbee team captain
  • MIT LaunchX Attendee
  • Founder of a software company (founded during LaunchX)
  • Founder of a high school entrepreneurship coalition

Also, for background, I am an international student stuidying in America, first generation, and male.
