Hello!
Can previous accepted M.E.T students at Berkeley please share their stats and extracurriculars that got them into the program.
Thanks!
The MET program only started this fall, with an inaugural class of 30. There were probably some others who were accepted but opted not to attend. So you might not get many responses to your question – at this time, here are probably fewer than 50 people worldwide who have been accepted into MET.

Hello!
I am currently a freshman in the M.E.T. program, and I would be happy to provide some insight into the program!
My basic stats:
SAT: 2300 (old test)
ACT: Didn’t take
GPA: 4.8/4.0 W/UW
No class rank, but in top 10%
APs - 5s on Gov, APUSH, Calc AB & BC, Stats, World History, Chem
ECs/Awards: Intel Science fair finalist, member and leader of a couple school clubs, played & captained 2 varsity sports, National Merit Scholar
Obviously stats are important, but I think the most important aspect of your application is your ability to communicate your combined passion for both engineering and business through the essays you write.
